Well here we are three months in to the new year and I was hoping by now that it would have been a bit more spring like and we had seen the last of the snow! No such luck! With blizzards in Scotland and Northern Ireland spring still feels a long way off. Roll on summer when this will all be a distant memory!
Thank you as always from all of us for your unending support. Love Wizz, Linda & Kelvyn xxx

Little Hana found her forever home with Andy and Helen. Little Hana, like her siblings is carrying the Calicivirus. She suffers the worst of all her siblings with a persistent runny nose. However after only a short period her new Mum and Dad could not imagine life without her and decided to take her on - runny nose and all! She has settled in very well and loves her new Mum and Dad nearly as much as they love her! She does not seem to be missing her other siblings - far from it - she is lapping up all the undivided attention that comes her way!
Sweet quiet little Hattie who is Hana’s sister has also found her own quiet little corner! Living with Rich and Nikki she is slowly coming out of her shell, now she doesn’t have to do battle with her two boisterous brothers Henry and Harry! Her new Mum and Dad have had to be particularly patient with her as she has always been the shy one and not very confident at coming forward. However, now with only herself to worry about she is starting to realise that she has the whole place to herself! Albeit for her human slaves of course!
That just leaves the boys to be rehomed - Harry (left) and Henry (right). Unfortunately these are very old photos as the pair are now coming up to 11 months of age and do not sit still long enough for me take a photo of them! They are an adorable little pair, very affectionate and full of life. It would be lovely to rehome them together as they are very much a pair! Please note that the boys are also carriers of the Calicivirus which is currently showing as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums).
This is the ever handsome Marley who once rehomed seemed to develop a persistent cough. With his new owners Stuart and Yvonne he was causing them concern, not least of which was because they were due to go on holiday and Marley was not well enough to be vaccinated to go on his own little holiday! Plan B was put into operation whereby he would return to Auntie Wizz for a short stay, but this was not necessary as at the last minute a switch in antibiotics proved to be just the job - and everyone’s holiday went according to plan!
Don’t know what all the fuss is about! I’m sure if I sat here long enough I’d lay an egg too, then they would have something to get eggcited about!
The Rest of the Gang .........
Now here’s something we never thought we would see! Missy (right) sitting on a human lap! Once again led by her very close friend Raffles, she has been following his lead and plucked up the courage to jump up on the settee. Having done this she is rewarded with strokes and cuddles which she has now decided she actually quite likes!
Poppy is slowing up now and just manages to eat and sleep bless her, however, she can still keep the boys in check if she has to!
We are still looking for a home for Sophie and she too is now becoming a lot more sociable and wanting to sit on our laps.
Raffles as usual is just Raffles. Bless him, he has so much to put up with, but usually he just takes it all in his stride including impersonating a chicken!
Thanks again to you all - Love Wizz xx
