Sponsor a cat from just £15 per year.  There are times where for one reason or another a cat may not be suitable for rehoming. This can be either from a behavioural point of view or where a cat is sick or elderly. These cats are kept as permanent residents with us to live out the rest of their lives in a comfortable home environment. Others may have come in via other rescues and they now want to help other cats who like themselves have been rescued.  Some of these cats can be sponsorsed for a minimum donation of £15 per year. In your initial pack you will receive a copy of the Wizz Catz quarterly newsletter, quarterly updates on your sponsor cat, a certificate, a photo, a keyring and a fridge magnet. Thereafter you will receive a quarterly newsletter, an update on your sponsor cat and a photo.  Please see below all the cats available for sponsoring.  Please Contact Us or alternatively print off a copy of the form.

Hello everyone!  My name is Princess Chloe - Prinie for short.  I am 1 year old, but I still look like a kitten as I am very small.  This is because my liver does not function properly and when I first came in to the rescue I could not eat on my own and had to be syringe fed for many months.  I am now like a normal cat in every way but I reacted very badly to a general anaesthetic so no more tests will be done on me.  I will now live out my life here.  I love being outside in the garden - my speciality is bush climbing as I am so light!
You can read all about me in my very own special section
I’m Charlie and I am 6 years old.  I have brain damage (cerebellar hypoplasia) and as such I’m a bit wobbly on my legs and look as if I’ve had one too many! As a kitten I used to try to run down the stairs but often found myself in a heap at the bottom. However, over the years I have slowed down and learned to live with it, becoming a little more co-ordinated, and I have fewer accidents.  Originally I was kept as an indoor cat but I tried to escape at every available opportunity, and supervised excursions were a disaster.  Eventually I got my own way and can often be found seeing off any other cat who dares to come anywhere near my territory!
My name is Simon and I am about 15 years old.  Some years ago I got my left front paw stuck through my collar. Despite months of antibiotics and TLC, my front left leg could not be saved and my owner was never traced.  However, I haven’t let it stand in my way and after some initial hesitation and getting used to being slightly off balance most people nowadays don’t even notice that I have a leg missing
Milly is my name and I was the one that started Wizz Catz Rescue, so I hold the rightful place as the rescue’s mascot!  I am now 3 years old.  I have a slight problem with my mouth, which often gives me a bit of a lop-sided look.  My right top fang is growing across my front teeth, while the lower fang juts out away from my jaw.  I may eventually need them removing which will be a major operation.  I have very soft Persian-type fur that tangles very easily, but fortunately I love being groomed.
