The cats in our care receive the following:
Blood tested for FIV/FeLV (Feline Aids Virus and Feline Leukaemia Virus)
Old cat blood profile - for all cats over 8 years of age
Spayed or Neutered
Vaccinated against flu and enteritis
Microchipped
Program Flea injection which lasts for 6 months
Profender Spot-on worm treatment
Vets fees alone can cost us around £150 per cat.
We therefore ask for a minimum donation of £75 per cat
plus there is a £15 charge to change the microchip details

To adopt you will be required to have a home visit from one of the trustees and we reserve the right not to rehome to you if we feel that the environment is unsuitable. Please do not be offended as first and foremost we have the cats interest at heart and we do not want to stress them out any further than is necessary. For further information please contact us.

Smudgie - 5 year old, blue tortie female
Want to make a real difference to a little cat's life? Then how about taking on Smudgie. She has lived most of her life outside so her 'human' skills are not what they might be. However, as the months have gone by here she has made a great improvement and is turning out to be a very sweet natured affectionate little cat. She gets on well with other cats but despite being nervous around humans she can certainly hold her own against other cats if she needs to! For Smudgie to reach her full potential I feel she would be better in an environment without children as you will need some patience to win her over as you need to earn her trust. But it is so rewarding when these little cats start to trust you. Well worth the effort for both you and her! Please contact us if you want to be that person to make a difference to Smudgie's life.
